The Spincare Record Cleaning Cloths are a practical, low-cost addition to any cleaning routine. Each cloth is made from supersoft microfibre that is gentle on vinyl surfaces and leaves no lint or particles behind. The anti-static properties help dissipate static charge from the record surface as you clean, reducing the attraction of further dust during and after the process.
For routine maintenance, use the cloth dry. Wipe in a circular motion from the centre of the record outwards - always following the direction of the grooves, never across them. This lifts loose dust without forcing debris deeper into the surface.
For a more thorough clean, use the cloth with a Spincare cleaning solution. Apply one or two sprays to the record surface, then wipe gently in a circular motion. Allow the record to dry completely before sleeving or playing. After cleaning, store in a poly-lined inner sleeve to prevent paper fibres from re-contaminating the surface.
The cloths can be washed when they become dirty. Hand wash with warm water - no detergent or soap, as residue can transfer back onto your records. Allow to air dry fully before use.
